Two teens on a mission to change the lives of their family and women everywhere — 5 Days of Christmas

Tranelle Maner

If you haven’t seen the news recently, the teens and young adults of Generation Z, are some of the most motivated and thoughtful people of all past generations — a perfect example are Diamond and Dashaine Mosley. The Mosley’s are a pair of 15-year-old sisters from Garner, North Carolina, who are dedicated to their schooling, future business endeavors and the success of their family.

Both girls are interested in starting their own businesses to eliminate their mother’s financial strain and make a difference in other’s lives.

“My business will be helping young girls and women with mental illness. To also let them know they are not alone. The products will be there to help them feel like the queen they are. To help them feel the way they want to feel,” Dashaine said of her future YouTube channel.

In the past, Diamond explained she would share her computer with her siblings to do their work as well as her own. Unfortunately, she shared that this process is no longer possible as her computer has stopped working. Now, the entire family is falling behind in their schooling.

Both Diamond and Dashaine reached out to HTI to receive a Chromebook during our “5 Days of Christmas” giveaway in the hopes of helping further their educational and entrepreneurial endeavors.

With hearts as large as the home Diamond said she hopes to help her family buy, there is no question that with their determination and consistent technology both girls are on their way to having a long list of accomplishments.

All of us at HTI are excited to see their future successes. If you’d like to be a part of changing lives like theirs, please consider donating to HTI.  Visit our website to learn more about how you can contribute to our mission of providing equal access technology.
